Gas Technical Services was formed by Paul Smith (Current Proprietor) in 1994 and has been operating in Pembrokeshire for over 26 years. Paul, who served his apprenticeship with British Gas in 1971, has over 49 years experience in the gas industry and with heating systems and heating products. The fireplace centre was started in 2004 and has steadily grown, with 5 showroom moves to larger premises over that time. In 2014 we relocated the business to The London Road Mall, and created a new spacious state of the art showroom, with nearly every single fire being on live display, so that customers can get a real experience of how the product will perform in their home. 

We have a small dedicated team of Staff, which enables us to offer a very Personal Service. We pride ourselves in offering a ‘One Stop Shop’….from your first visit to our showroom, we will listen to your requirements and demonstrate the products that are available to you. We will then complete a FREE OF CHARGE Survey, to determine which of those products will suit not just the space available, but will meet your requirements, and also suit the style of your home. With the wide choice of fires, mantles, hearths and backpanels we offer, we know it can get overwhelming, but we are here to offer suggestions and assist every step of the way, after all, you will be looking at your fireplace for a very long time. 

We have experienced Engineers to Install your Fireplace, and can also complete the servicing of your Fire for many years to come…. and whilst there, we can also provide care for your Boiler too, we are not only Vaillant Advance Installers, we offer servicing, repairs and cover breakdowns on all Boilers and Fires.
